ChargePoint EV L2 Dual Port Charger

Sales of electric vehicles is growing around the world, with the number of electric vehicles increased from 17,000 in 2010 to 7.2 million by 2019. The Plug-In Partnership Program supports increasing adoption and use of zero emission vehicles through the consideration of installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, deployment of demonstrations zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs), and collaboration with local fleet-operating stakeholders to transition to EV.

The City is partnering with ChargePoint, an electric vehicle infrastructure company, to consider the feasibility and capacity to install publicly available EV Charge Stations at the following sites by 2023:

  • City Hall (1110 Capitol Ave)
  • Community Center (1075 Capitol Ave)
  • Joey Lopes Park (840 – 878 Sycamore Ave)
  • Heritage Oaks Park (1300 Lake Washington Blvd)
  • Corporation Yard (4300 West Capitol Ave)
  • Bridge District Parking Lot (74 Bridge Street)
  • Lighthouse Charter School (899 Bryte Ave)
  • Alabama & 15th Parking Lot
  • 3rd and D Street Curbside Parking
  • Elkhorn Plaza Curbside Parking
  • 7th St and Tower Bridge Gateway/Christopher L. Cabaldon Parkway Parking Lot
