Home MenuCOVID-19 Testing in West Sacramento extended through June 27th
Initially slated to end June 20, the COVID-19 testing site in West Sacramento, run by OptumServe in conjunction with the State of California, will be extended an additional week to June 27 to allow for additional residents to be tested in Yolo County.
More than 1,700 tests have been conducted in West Sacramento so far, with high numbers of 125 on Saturday, June 6th and 100 on Tuesday, June 9th.
The free COVID-19 testing is available until June 27th at Club West, 1125 Riverbank Road on the north side of Bryte Park. Hours are Tuesdays – Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Testing is by appointment only and can be made by calling (888) 634-1123 or completing an online application at: http://lhi.care/covidtesting. You will be asked for insurance information in the online application, but the tests are free and insurance is not required.
Testing is open to anyone in the community, including agricultural workers, the homeless, undocumented employees, and residents. People who don't show COVID-19 symptoms (asymptomatic) are also strongly encouraged to get the test.
Test results are available within 48 to 72 hours. Please note this is not antibody testing; this is to test if individuals have COVID-19.
